Dear Sam,
Finally, I read your book from beginning to the end. It was a good read. Given the nature of the subject, it was not an easy read. I was deeply impressed by your knowledge on this subject. Apparently, you have done a lot of research and read voluminous amount of work in this area. You write well. I liked your writing style; it was almost like you were teaching your readers--which I enjoyed--while at the same time exhibiting great deal of sensitivity in handling this difficult subject.
I felt that the articles by the three authors starting from page 71 were a bit of digression from the main focus of the book as they did not cohere well with your good essay in the first 70 pages. Perhaps they belong to appendices. Congratulations on your book--a bold venture indeed. People may not agree with you but Tamil Nadu needs people like you, independent thinkers, who are willing to push us into uncomfortable zone.
Best,
Pandian
