114. Letter to the Editor

The Hindu -க்கு இரண்டு கடிதம் எழுதிப்போட்டு,அதை அவர்கள் பதிப்புக்குத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவில்லை என்றதும், நம் சொந்த பதிப்பகம்தான் இருக்கிறதே என்று தோன்றியதாலும், நமக்குன்னு படிக்கிறதுக்கு நாலு பேரு இருக்க மாட்டார்களா என்ற நம்பிக்கையிலும் இங்கே பதிகிறேன்.

Sir,
Many have expressed a great shock over the expose’ of the sting operation, Operation Duryodhana. It is not surprising at all, if one has come to understand and accept what our politicians are. Don’t we all know that these politicians take up politics as their serious full-time profession and they would stoop down to any level for money in this ‘noble profession’ of theirs? Don’t we know the sole aim of our politicians is to go for fast bucks at the shortest period. They know pretty well that there may not be a ‘tomorrow’ and they make hay when the sun shines.

Sir,
Appeasing the monorities, I assumed, is only in our country. Sorry to find the same in U.S., and U.K. too. The article (Celebrating Christmas by other names) by Hasan Suroor on 14th Dec shows how religions play havoc with peoples’ psyche all over the world. It is not as simple as it looks. This is nothing less than the symptom of paranoa that has crept into human mind, a sure sign of one of the after-effects of 9/11.

புது டிசைன் நல்லா இருக்கு. உங்க மகளை உடனே இங்கே அனுப்பி வையுங்க. எனக்கும் இன்னும் வேற வேற டிசைன்களிலே டெம்ப்ளேட் மாத்தணும்:-))))

மகாபாரதம் ராமாயணம் இதெல் எல்லாம் லட்சக்கணக்கான பெயர்கள் இருக்கு. அதுலே இருந்து ஒவ்வொண்ணா எடுத்து விட்டுக்’கலாம்’.
